Diocesan Boys' School
Founded in 1869 this is one of the oldest schools in Hong Kong. The school is a Christian based secondary school that is highly prestigious. Although not open to the public the interesting architecture is well visible from the outside.
King George V
Part of the English Schools Foundation this historic school founded in 1894 accepts both boys and girls into a secondary school program based on the International Baccalaureate or IB.

Yaumati Theatre (Currently Under Renovation)
The historic Yaumati Theatre, located at 6 Waterloo Road, represents one of Hong Kong's most significant cultural preservation efforts. Built in 1930, this Grade II listed heritage building is the only surviving pre-war cinema building in urban Hong Kong and was faithfully restored as a dedicated venue for traditional Cantonese opera performances.
Important Update: The theatre has been closed since September 2022 for Phase 2 construction and is expected to reopen in the second half of 2026 with enhanced facilities. When operational, it serves as a vital center for preserving Cantonese opera traditions, featuring regular performances by emerging young talent with English subtitles available.
